How Your Custom Map Works

Choose your blanket colour and size, then enter your location and wording in the personalization field. Cedarline Collective will use those details to create a custom topographic design centred on your meaningful place.
Location Details We Need

Provide the exact location using coordinates, a full address, a Google Maps link, a trail or lake name, or the nearest identifiable landmark.

You may also tell us what you would like centred in the design. If you do not know the coordinates, provide as much location information as possible, and we will determine them for you.
Proof & Approval

A digital proof will be sent by email before production begins. Your order includes one proof and one round of minor revisions.

Please carefully review all names, dates, coordinates, wording, and map placement. Production will begin after your design has been approved.

Is the design printed on the blanket?

No. The design is woven directly into the blanket using coloured cotton yarn, creating a richly textured jacquard finish rather than a surface print.
What does the reverse side look like?

The reverse displays the same design with the colours inverted as part of the weaving process. The front colour selected in the listing refers to the side shown in the main product image.
Which size should I choose?

The 40" × 54" lap throw is ideal for a chair or cozy personal blanket. The 54" × 62" classic throw offers more coverage for a sofa, while the 62" × 84" oversized throw works beautifully as a generous couch blanket or twin-bed accent. Please refer to the size guide in the listing photos.
How should I care for my blanket?

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle using mild detergent. Bleach may be used as needed. Tumble dry on low. Care instructions are also included with your order.

Like your favorite denim jacket, it only gets softer the more you use and wash it.
Will the colours look exactly like the photographs?

Because the design is created from woven yarn rather than printed ink, colours naturally blend within the weave and may appear slightly different depending on lighting and screen settings. This variation is part of the blanket’s textured character.
Is each blanket made to order?

Yes. Each blanket is woven to order and typically requires 5–7 business days for production before shipping. Delivery typically takes a further 2–7 business days within Canada and the US; transit times can vary.
